Was held on 22nd & 23rd October 2004
at The Nightingale Centre, Eastleigh
The festival was a great success with 867 visitors over the two days, a 31% increase on last year, and the beer all but running out in spite of a hasty re-order on Saturday.
The Festival beer selection had a Scottish theme with half the beers coming from Scotland. This choice was a hit with everyone at the Festival with the Scottish beers winning all the higher strength Beer of the Festival places as well as the top spot.

Virtually every Eastleigh festival has had a steam locomotive as its logo, recognising that without the coming of the railway and later the engine works, Eastleigh would not even exist! This year we have gone back even more to these roots and used the insignia of the London and South-Western Railway Company, owners of the original lines before they became part of the Southern Railway in the nation-wide amalgamations of 1923. |
